What to Expect in an Online Session
Technology Made Simple:
We meet via secure video platform Zoom. You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a private space, and a device with video capability. I’ll send you simple instructions before our first session.
Creating Your Space:
You’ll want a quiet, private area where you won’t be interrupted. Some clients sit on the floor with cushions, others prefer a chair or couch. The key is being able to move your body comfortably and feel at ease.
The Session Itself:
Just like in-person work, we’ll begin by checking in and sensing into what’s present for you today. I’ll guide you through somatic practices—breath awareness, body scanning, gentle movement, emotional processing—all adapted for the online format.
You’ll be an active participant, tuning into your body’s sensations while I provide guidance, witnessing, and support. Many clients find that the camera creates just enough distance to feel safe while still allowing genuine connection and transformation.
